• Chat Messages & Local History: Your conversational histories with all AI characters are stored locally on your own device via your browser's LocalStorage. We do not store persistent chat transcripts on our backend databases.
• AI Message Relay: When you send a message, it is transmitted securely over HTTPS through our Cloudflare Worker backend to Google's Gemini API strictly to generate the conversational response. Messages are not used by DesiiChat to build personal behavioral profiles.
• Optional Account Profile: If you voluntarily create a free account, we store only your name and email address locally to synchronize your saved favorites.
• Technical & Anonymized Log Data: We may collect standard technical data (browser type, device type, general geographic region, and referral URLs) via Cloudflare analytics to monitor platform performance, mitigate DDoS attacks, and optimize page load speeds.

2. Google AdSense & Cookie Disclosures

DesiiChat uses Google AdSense and third-party advertising vendors to display relevant advertisements to support our free platform:

• Third-Party Vendor Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
• Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to DesiiChat and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Opt-Out Options: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

3. LocalStorage & Client-Side Data Control

DesiiChat relies on browser LocalStorage to maintain your favorite personas, theme preferences, and chat history. You maintain complete control over this data. You can erase all local platform history at any time by clearing your browser cache and cookies, or resetting site data via your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Safety Systems

We work with trusted industry providers to deliver high-quality, safe AI experiences:

• Google (Gemini API): Processes prompt text under Google's enterprise AI safety guidelines. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention & Erasure

6. Children's Online Privacy

DesiiChat is designed for general audiences aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, please contact us at privacy@desiichat.com for immediate deletion.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have statutory rights regarding your personal information, including:

• The right to access and receive a copy of any personal data held about you.

We implement end-to-end SSL/TLS encryption across the entire platform. While no electronic transmission is 100% impenetrable, we adhere to recognized security practices to safeguard all client interactions.
